Huge FPS drops after recent maintenance

After the recent server situation, my gpu usage has been tanked and fps drops happens constantly. I have a rtx 3070 ti and im only getting about 140 to 160 fps with all settings turned low or off.

yeah im not sure then. the 1650 super supports vulkan.

Probably its because of my CPU its i3-9100f, they say that they upgraded the games shaders so thats why our game is unstable. i will try to buy a new cpu i guess for everything

if you have your computer/ laptop on performance mode you should at least get 70fps for me i own a 1050 gtx with a i5-7000 and it works fine. Its most likely the overlay of both ubisoft and steam so i allways have steam overlay off. Its possibly ubisoft overlay as i have reduced fps when its present

i closed the overlay and i think its is working just fine :D in outback in front of the iguana painting on the wall i was getting 80-90 fps with overlay on 150+- fps with overlay closed

yes you can if you open up ubisoft app that you have to install to play the game you can disable it in the settings part

good to hear that closing overlay for you has worked i guess the problem truely lied with the overlay and not a shader update

Ubisoft overlay FPS drop

Something is wrong with ubisoft overlay.
It causes lower fps overall when enabled. Iv noticed this myself when playing with a mate.
Solo+Overlay enabled= 70-80 fps max
Solo+ overlay disabled = 90-107 or 110 fps max
Freinds + overlay enabled = 35-50 fps max
freinds + overlay disabled = Im not sure as i havent gone that far yet but im sure i would get more fps than the overlay being enabled.

My specs are
GTX 1050
I5-7000

This thread is just PSA for those who are struggling with the fps. If you want to play with your mates im sure you can be invited through steam or possibly tab out to accept invites through the ubisoft app and not the overley

EDIT 1:Even if solo any interaction with the overlay somehow causes an fps. A freind playing a ubisoft supported game, Getting an invite or anything else

I have same issues. These drops happened with an ubisoft update like 2 weeks ago. Hoping from ubi to fix this problem.
