Is anyone else experiencing this currently?
Thanks for reaching out to us and reporting this!
May we please know;
- Your PC specs (GPU, CPU, RAM, Laptop / Desktop)
- Does this happen in both DirectX and Vulkan?
And if you haven't done so since encountering these drops, could you please also make sure that you give the steps[support.ubisoft.com] in our troubleshooting guide a try and let us know if there's any changes.
Thank you!

I always have to restart the game and the problem is gone then. I am aware of the issue of this same kind other people been facing after their server went down, was wondering if it was solved and if I'm the only one still facing it.
I am running on a GTX970, 8GB System RAM, and I will need to look up my exact CPU (it's an Intel i5 from 2019).
In the meantime I might have narrowed down the possible source: When I'm playing solo (training ground, situations...) the game runs fine as before at 60+ fps. But as soon as I join a squad, performamce suffers enormously. Ubisoft Connect then takes up ~40-50% of my CPU, compared to ~10% when playing solo. Re-installing Ubisoft connect hasn't resolved the issue, and setting the graphics to very low isn't helping much (and is very frustrating since the game ran fine at very high settings before). Are there currently known issues with Ubisoft Connect?
Thanks for getting back to us Cardboard-Nose!
We've had some players noting high CPU usage with Ubisoft Connect, but we're still in the process of investigating these.
Some players note the high CPU usage and performance drops only begin after opening the Ubisoft Connect overlay in-game - does this also apply to you (after having accepted / invited friends to play squad games for instance)?
