no music or Announcer Sound?
Had it before in test server and was fine in live untill the grim update came. Anyone else has this problem too? it seems to be Season/Grim related as live was fine before but test server had this problem and now live has it too?

Tried every fix posted/linked in here... still no difference.
Verified/relocated/reinstalled/troubleshot (both windows and game/launcher) etc, etc... I also disabled windows paging file on the drive, rebooted, then tried the relocation again, booting the game from two other drives... I also ran windows recovery and restored previous state... absolutely no difference.
It can be quite disruptive in-game when you can't get certain audio ques, especially on defense (like if you're engaged in a firefight and enemies plant/secure). I can't think of a game that is riddled with so many one-step-forward-two-steps-back solutions. Every update, big or small, brings more and more problems.

I'm sorry to hear you're still having issues dustylamborghini and that the suggestions here haven't helped you.

I can confirm , that if you uninstall and re install on a different drive it fixes the issue , sorry to those who only have a small boot drive and a hard drive for games

Have you got a different hdd or ssd to install the game on ? I deleted it fully and reinstalled it on my boot drive instead and it fixed the issue , luckily I have just got 2 x M.2 so it doesn’t effect me in any way doing so but all I care about is that it is fixed

Half a year has passed and they have not been able to provide a solution LOL, so bad Ubi.

FIX TO THIS BUG
I found a soltution to this problem, in order to get back voicelines, announcer voice and music to the game you have to move R6 from one hard drive to another (in my case it was from hard drive D to C [imgur.com]. Thats it.
Worked like a charm :steamhappy:

I still got the problem… shot sounds cut off, announcer isn’t speaking, the operators aren’t talking except azami…
It decreases the quality of the game so drastically

Finally found a solution to this problem for me. I copied the game's folder to another drive and then clicked uninstall on uplay, then relocated the game folder and verified files. Audio is fixed, but moving it back to the original drive does not keep it fixed. So I guess it stays on this new drive, but at least I have proper audio now.

Ubisoft how have you still not fixed this. I would honestly rather shoot myself than play your games any more. You put so much time and effort into creating cosmetics that you neglect the important stuff. Fix the core game features or you will no longer have players to buy your cosmetics you shove down our throats. Also, how has it taken you 13 days to figure out why I haven't received my bravo ticket?!?!! I have sent proof that I haven't received my bravo ticket through a chat with Ubisoft support and I've heard nothing back. GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT.

Hey, i've heard about this issue though I believe it only occured for me when i changed from english to german then back to english

Ive got this issue aswell tried everything tried reinstalling on diff drives tried changing drive n ames and letters and still nothing

This is still happening in the Ram Season and its frustrating because the elite that I paid for don't have sound please is there any fix I understand that this post goes back over a whole year but it seems like its still not fixed!

Hi all! I have the same problem, it started with the azami season, reinstalling the game, reinstalling windows, changing headphones and also reinstalling on another disk did not help, it got to the point that I changed the motherboard and the problem remained the same, in other games everything is ok , does not work in a siege. I don't know what to do anymore
