Crashes | Bluescreen
I have already reached out to Ubisoft, but I wanted to try here as well in the hopes that someone might have experienced the same or a similar issue:

Bluescreens and crashes.

Since the latest update of Rainbow Six Siege, I have been experiencing massive issues with my game. My system crashes randomly and shows a blue screen. This happens in the main menu, during the first few seconds of the game, or in the middle of gameplay. There is no identifiable trigger for these crashes.
Error code: BEDaisy.sys - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

My system is not overheating, neither the CPU nor the GPU. Everything was running smoothly before the update. I have installed new PC components and everything was working perfectly fine. I could play normally without crashes or any other issues. However, since the last update, I am facing extreme difficulties.

My setup:

CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B760-PLUS D4
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO 4x16GB DDR4
Graphics Card: AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3070 MASTER 8G

The error codes all point to a problem with Battleye. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game along with Battleye multiple times, but to no avail. I have deleted Battleye, restarted my PC, and reinstalled Battleye – also without success.

Other steps I have taken:

  • Installed the latest Nvidia driver – no success. Switching to older drivers also did not help.
  • No background applications that could affect the game are active.
  • Performed ScanHealth and RestoreHealth – no issues found, but the problem
    persists.
  • Disabled Windows real-time protection – no success.
  • Verified game files for corruption – all files are fine, but the problem remains.
  • Ran the game as an administrator – no success.
  • Network connection and operating system are working fine, no changes there.
  • Disabled Intel Turbo Boost Technology – no success.
  • Reverted to old components – no success.
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled BattleEye – no success.

Additionally, I tested the game on a friend's PC and tried different CPUs, RAMs, and motherboards:

CPUs: Intel Core i7-12700K, Intel Core i7-10700KF
RAM: D4 32GB 3200-16 Beast 1Gx8 K2 KFY, GiBy B660 GAMING X DDR4 B660
Motherboards: MSI Z490-A Pro (LGA 1200, Intel Z490, ATX)
None of these measures led to success.

My PC is not overclocked or anything.

As mentioned before, the game was running perfectly fine before the update without crashes, blue screens, or any other issues. It is clear that the error is not due to my system or my PC components.

I hope you can help me, as the problem has persisted since the update and I have not been able to find a solution, making Rainbow Six Siege impossible to play for me.

Maybe someone else has an idea, thank you already and have a nice day :heartp:

Uninstall your last windows security updates and that will fix the issue after a restart.
Come back and give me a prize for helping you out :mylove:

Possible fixes from : https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/

1. When starting my game with BattlEye enabled, my system crashes with a bluescreen (BSOD).

First of all, ensure that Driver Verifier is disabled on your system as it is currently known to cause problems with BE. You can find how to do so here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/244617/using-driver-verifier-to-identify-issues-with-windows-drivers-for-adva. To disable it please clear all of its settings and reboot your system. Secondly, please fully update your system’s BIOS. If that doesn’t help and the crashes persist please contact our support directly so we can investigate your issue.

2. When launching the game I get a “Failed to initialize BattlEye Service: Driver Load Error (1275).” error and Windows displays a popup reporting that BEDaisy.sys cannot be loaded on this device due to a security feature called “Hardware-enforced Stack Protection”. Ps. Try this even if you are not getting the exact same error.

Recently Microsoft has started to ask Windows 11 users to enable this security feature and if they do so it will cause the BE driver to be unable to load. Due to the complexities involved in security software unfortunately many kernel-level anti-cheats, including BE, are not compatible with this feature yet. While we are working on finding a solution and are also in contact with Microsoft regarding this issue, unfortunately there is no easy or immediate fix for it.

Update: Recently we have fixed this incompatibility, however, currently the latest Windows 11 is still blocking any version of our driver whenever this feature is enabled. We are currently waiting for Microsoft to release a Windows update to unblock the latest versions of our driver to solve this.

Therefore, for the time being, users will have to revert enabling this security feature using one of the following ways. Please note that by doing so you will not lower the security of your device or expose it to greater risks compared to previously, as this is a new security feature that wasn’t enabled on devices before.

Click the “Disable” button in the Windows popup and reboot your system.
Open the Start menu and enter “Core isolation” in the search bar to open the related Windows Defender settings. In the “Windows Security” window switch the option called “Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection” to “Off”, then reboot your system.
Afterwards you should be able to play BE-protected games again.

Or try this: Disable Intel Turbo Boost Technology
Disabling the Intel Turbo Boost technology is another solution to the “BEDaisy.sys crash” issue. You can do this in BIOS with the given steps.

Step 1: Reboot your computer into BIOS.

Step 2: Go to System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Power and Performance Options > Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology.

Tips:
Does the name of each option differ on your PC? If so, choose something similar to make sure you can eventually reach Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology.
Step 3: After that, set Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology to Disabled.

Step 4: Once done, follow the on-screen instructions to save the changes.

Step 5: Restart your PC normally to see if the system crash persists.

If nothing above works, report to battleye directly.

This happened only if you got a software issue that Battle eye does not like....it conflicts with it
I got it once back when i had Nvidia as i had modded drivers...now i have no clue what do you have installed or what are you using or what are you trying to do with the game
If you say your clean and wont tamper with it...i say its software and driver related then more oever

I was trying this step:

Disable Intel Turbo Boost Technology

it works a bit, but it is still crashing.

But thank you :heartp:

Thank you for an update. In case you find the fix /or contact battleye and they give you the effective solution, it would be helpful if you could let us know as they are more ppl having the same issue. Thx <3

Of course (:
I've only had the problem since the new season, before that everything was great.
So I think it's somehow related to that - but as I said, I'm not sure.

I'm still waiting for Ubisoft support to respond.

But! As soon as I know something - there will be updates here, in the hope that they might help others as well :heartp:

Yesterday, I spent the entire day completely reinstalling my Windows system, including all updates and necessary installations. Unfortunately, this extensive process did not resolve my issue. I continue to experience crashes and a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the same error code upon startup.

Later today, I plan to try using the program "PC Doctor Toolbox" to identify potential causes and solutions.

If any of you are facing similar issues, it might be worth considering giving this program a try as well.
