is there anything I can do to prevent getting kicked for poor connection?

it's getting to be a little unplayable, every 3rd game or so me and my friend get huge lag spikes or randomly kicked from the lobby at the same time for having "poor connection", even though we can play any other game without a single connection problem

I don't understand why this only happens to us when we play siege, is there anything we can do?
