Voice chat not working at all
Loaded up siege today after the update and when i entered a game I couldn't hear my hear my team mates talking and whenever I pressed the key to speak the icon never appeared with my name, nor did it pop up with other people's names.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Hey Nathan, are you using a third party software like discord? Or is this voice chat through the game itself?

voice chat issue
ubi i'm having problem in voice chat some times they can hear me but i can't hear them but usually i can't hear them nor they can hear me.but i'm getting game audio and my headset is fine and enable??

This is voice chat through the game itself. When I last played I couldn't hear my team mates speaking and it didn't show my name when I pushed to talk

Do you see a disconnect icon next to your name when you press tab ingame? If you do, then same with me.. 3 days now..
Can't use voice chat?
In game I can't voice chat and I can't hear teammate's voice chat and in the scoreboard I don't have a mic icon and neither has anyone else in my team. How to fix this?

well some times it shows microphone sign when i press u but some times not but in both cases they cant hear me and neither me .and yeah some times it shows that icon when my internet having issue.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with using in game voice chat in Rainbow Six: Siege. Communication is a big part of our tactical based shooter and we can appreciate the impact this has on the game experience if this is restricted.

Due to changes that were necessary to improve our overall communication, we introduced a new form of technology to vastly improve our voice chat.

You can try the following troubleshooting steps, to see if it helps with this matter.

We would also ask you to follow our FAQ for issues with your in-game voice chat[support.ubisoft.com]

Please make sure your microphone is set as "Default Communication Device" in your settings.

Then also make sure that your microphone have the proper right in your Windows:
1. Open your “File Explorer” and click on “Control Panel”. Then click on “Hardware and Sound” and then click on “Sound”.
2. Click on the “Recording” tab and then select your microphone (i.e. “Headset mic”, “Internal mic”, etc.) and click "Properties".
3. Click the "Advanced" tab. Click on the check mark in the box next to "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" to remove the check mark from the box. Then click "Apply".

If all the steps have been done to no avail please let me know so we can offer further assistance. Thanks.

Have you reset your sound settings in-game? That might do the trick.
