Black screen issue.

Recently in the last week, I have been having issues with my screen going completely black when playing siege. It stays like this sometimes up to a minute but averages about 20 seconds before the picture resumes for 2-3 seconds and blacking out again. Sometimes an almost screen tear effect happens before the screen goes black and others it just goes black immediately. This does not happen with any other games. When I ALT+tab my screen returns to normal and i'm back at my desktop but my siege is still a blacked out screen. I am still able to hear and interact with everything, I just can't see. I've tried verifying game files, reinstalling, changing my display mode and updating my drivers and windows and nothing seems to have worked. The only change I can think of making in the last week is disabling ubisoft overlay which when i reactivated it the issue still continued. I currently have a ticket open with ubisoft and am waiting on an answer but was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them as well. The game is literally unplayable at this point. I've had the same issue, only started happening recently which is strange. My screen would go black for 5-10 seconds before resuming and typically turns black again when I move my mouse. I am able to play in windowed mode just fine, but borderless or fullscreen it goes black every few seconds. I uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics drivers which allows me to now play the game in borderless, but the screen still turns black the same way you described when I am in menus or killcam for some reason.

Kind of weird it fixed it for gameplay but menus it bugs out. I haven't troubleshooted much further but let me know if you get anything back, I've also sent a ticket to ubisoft.

I'm sorry to hear that your screen goes black and you can only see the HUD. This issue is under investigation. As a potential workaround, please try lowering your resolution and then changing it back. Alternatively, switch your game from borderless to windowed mode, and after a while, the issue should fix itself. Please let us know the results.
