Kind of weird it fixed it for gameplay but menus it bugs out. I haven't troubleshooted much further but let me know if you get anything back, I've also sent a ticket to ubisoft.

I'm sorry to hear that your screen goes black and you can only see the HUD. This issue is under investigation. As a potential workaround, please try lowering your resolution and then changing it back. Alternatively, switch your game from borderless to windowed mode, and after a while, the issue should fix itself. Please let us know the results.
