Hey there, welcome back.
It seems another issue related to your original ping issue has appeared. However, its possible from a few reports that the issue, is not related to the usual connectivity issues.
We did have a patch go live yesterday (21.03.2023). If anyone is still encountering the issue, please provide the following:
- Video showing the issue
- Determine whether when the ping spikes, it also causes any hardware usage to spike in tandem
- Ubisoft Support

To be frank, no. I never did log in to the game after this or record any footage, I gave up trying to fix this issue and stopped playing the game after this post and haven't played it again since. Its incredibly frustrating and demotivating in a competitive game, to finally start to improve and climb the ranked ladder, only to be thwarted by network issues, its why I couldn't be asked to hop in again.
The problem is so sporadic and difficult to pinpoint, that literally anything could be the problem, with seemingly no way to narrow it down. Its especially difficult, because what looks like common lag issues, that are usually associated with these problems and usually remedied by commonly recited fixes, look very similar to the problems I am having. So other players could be having similar looking and feeling problems, but the causes of those problems are entirely different and not related to my issues whatsoever.
The one thing I know, is that the issues don't seem to be directly on my end. Its not my network or internet or hardware specifically, this is the only online game I have ever played that has such terrible packet loss issues.
It's very likely a specific combination of factors on Ubisoft's end and mine. I have stated this before but I can go a week without issue, thinking the problem is fixed and then a week later I have game breaking freezing and stutters every match I play .
However seeing as how even now months later, this issue still seems to be widespread enough that this thread is still being referred to by players and devs alike, shows me that the problems are on Ubi's end and still ongoing.
At this point, I don't care anymore, but now I feel almost obliged now to dig up more info on this issue, not for myself anymore but to help other players. I don't know if it will do any good, but I will play the game again this week to gather footage, who knows if the issue will show itself.
So I think I won't play this game normally because I have such lags every time I play.

Yep, by the way I did in fact gather some footage of gameplay today where the packet loss, happened right on schedule on the second ranked match I played. I'm in the process of rendering the video right now inf act. I'll upload it to YouTube as soon as its done, then link it here, I don't know much good it will do, but at least other people can get an example of what these issues look like.

After watching the video i now know the same thing happnes to me, never on my first match tho, usually starts on the second one or after that. Kinda frustating, i used to love the game and played it all the time on my ps4 and after watching so many jynxzi clips i decided to buy it on my pc and to have this packet loss issues really makes me sad. With this whole thread I at least know the problem is not on my end, but on Ubi's, so thank you Tahllinavian. And I'm not even on US servers, so it really is a worldwide problem.
I am "luckier" then you, i guess, since I dont get any stuttering on my first match, I can just play 1, restart the game and play another, tho it is still annoying as hell.
happy my problems could be of some use to someone, but yes, I outright quit the game it's forever unplayable to me, as it stands. I was starting to finally get good too, I was almost out of bronze, such a shame.
Yeah thanks for testing this all out... you've been spending some serious time on this. I have exactly the same issue as all you guys. For me it also only starts at second game, litteraly unplayable. Reinstalled the game but that didn't work. I have had this game for years but the problem only started occuring since 6 months ago or so. When it first occured just stopped playing the game but then recently wanted to play again, almost Almost made my house level with my ground floor out of frustration. Today I'm going to try one last thing and that is to full reset my pc. Maybe some other filles are interupting the game which seems verry unlikely. I just like this game so much to give it up... hopefully there soon will be a fix but it has been going on for to long so.
I just tried verifying the game in steam and it did catch a problem: a file corrupted so it re-downloaded it. Let me test if that helps fix the issue.
