This has worked for me as the best solution to the freezing issue
It worked for me and these are my specs:
Nvidia GTX 1050 TI
AMD Ryzen 3 2200g
16 GB RAM
I've deleted your post due to the inappropriate comment within, and would like to remind you to please remain respectful in your language in future, as this goes against the rules and guidelines.
Everyone else who has commented, I can understand your frustration with the ongoing freezing issues which were being discussed in this thread.
Unfortunately, due to each PC build and software being different, it can sometimes be hard to narrow down the exact cause of why this might be happening for each.
Which is why we like to ask for as much information as possible as to how/why/where this is occurring for people, in order to pass this onto the development team in their investigation into the issue.
I apologize, this has been affecting your overall enjoyment of the gameplay recently, but if you'd like to provide some more information which was requested by Ubi-Nova, we would appreciate that immensely.

GTX 750 TI
16 GB RAM
i3 9100F
Win 10
My specs:
GTX 1080TI @2K and 165Hz
7700K, 32GB@3200Mhz
512GB NVME SSD
-Fresh install of Windows 10 and 11 with latest Nvidia's driver and installed nothing but Rainbow six siege.
-Tried opening all the ports for NAT forward and also tried with upnp.
-Tried exception in the Firewall
-Tried running it as administrator
-Tried disabling full screen optimization
-Tried with higesht settings, lowest and optimized settings
-BIOS up-to-date same with other drivers
-Tried high power settings
-Tried disabling RAW-mouse input
-Tried Vulkan version which is way worse. (Constantly jittery)
-Tried undervolting and overvolting CPU.
-Tried to set affinity on the CPU to 0/1
-Tried disabling Ubisoft overlay
-Tried checking CPU and GPU temperatures all below 60 Celsius on peak.
-Tried Playing on low and higher resolution.
-Tried Verifying game files
-Tried running it without any background apps/softwares
-Tried running the game wired and wireless (1Gbps up&down)
-Tried resetting router (Deco X20 in Router mode without a Modem behind it and my PC is behind a TP-Link managed Switch.
To be clear, this random freezes for 2-5 sec did not happen before and it is surely not on our end. I think we did enough testing and reported this many times. We do love the game and want to continue playing even though it has ALOT of cheaters and Ranked 2.0 is also bad.
I think you might consider forwarding this message and reports to the higher ups and not just the developers team. If the development team had the capacity to fix it they would've fixed it by this time. It's been more than a 1,5 year. Maybe they can hire some extra support team to fix this specific problem. Yes it might cost the company money but you will have way more satisfied customers.
Thank you,
R3XA.
