Linking a ps4 account to pc

I had bought rainbow six siege on ps4 a little bit back and just found out that they added account linking or whatever but when I tried linking my new account with my old one it said that my old account didn't own rainbow six siege, so I just wanna know how to either be able to play on my old account or link the two accounts cause I just wanna play with everything I used to have.

I'm having the same problem with an Xbox account, I've even linked the account to my steam and i'm still getting the same message

Whatever platform you play on Steam or console, you will have a specific account on these platforms, a Steam ID, PSN name, or Gamertag, You will need to make sure all of these platforms are linked to the same Ubisoft Account.

To check this, please sign in to your Ubisoft account manager website, and navigate to your linked accounts here > https://account.ubisoft.com/

Here you can link and unlink accounts if you wish.
