What servers are you connecting to in your lobby?

What time of day do you usually play?

Are you placed in a higher-rank tier?

If you are unable to connect to a match at your time of play, please check our server status website for any news of any degradation or emergency maintenance that could be ongoing > https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/status/

If there are no server issues and it takes you longer than 5 minutes to find a match, I recommend quitting the game and restarting your router to re-establish your connection to our servers. It shouldn't ideally take longer than 5 minutes to find a game, unless you play at the highest ranks with fewer players than lower tiers.

You can also try connecting to a different regional server, by editing your gamesettings.ini files, to see if this will improve your connection and matchmaking times > https://ubi.li/5aG7a

it mostly happens between 06.00-02.00 am (GMT) . My rank is changing between copper-bronze , i do not have a high rank.
I live in EU region , so i understand that those times are late but like you said , it shouldnt take more than 5 minutes.
I will try restarting and editing ini file if it happens today.

Restarting game works with quickmatch , but it doesnt always work with ranked match.
but probably it is because of my low rank. probably low ranked players arent playing during late night or early in the morning.

Ive had this problem for a year or so. I cant find matches at all solo and when i do it takes upward to 30- sometimes even a hr, The shortest time is 15 min but that is rare. Most of the time i just end ip getting off the game after 30min of queueing. Ive dont everything i can think of. When i join someone they will find a match in 1-5 min, when they join me its back to 30 min queues. Did you find a fix and if so can you let me know. Also can anyone who does know how to fix it help me out?

I am also having an error with matchmaking solo and with friends. takes upwards from five minutes to find a match, US West server, low rank, happens constantly, servers are operational, and now the game started freezing on and off during play making it unplayable. I am running HWmoniter at the same time and my hardware is running great, everything is at a low temp, and I've ran this game no problem beforehand. I've tried everything so far other than reinstalling as far as I am aware. if anyone has any clue as to what is going on, I'd appreciate the insight.
