We have investigations open into certain sound issues, however as you've noted this began with the Mute Protocol update, could you please try verifying the game's files[ubi.li]?
This will scan and repair any missing / corrupted files possibly caused on the back of the update.
Please let us know how you get on with this and if there's any changes.
And if there aren't any changes, please could you capture and share a video of this behaviour so we can pass it on?
