Sudden fps drop
I used to play this game at 200+ fps on the absolute highest settings, the game would auto detect to these settings, then one day with out any update or anything changing it suddenly no longer runs at 200+fps it runs around 160 with very high settings, the game now auto detects to high settings instead, is there any fix for this?

When did you first notice the game lowered your FPS amount? Can you remember if it was after a certain Year or Season update?

There could be a number of reasons why you might be experiencing performance issues with the game, that can be related to hardware, software, Windows settings, GPU settings, in-game settings, connectivity or the game itself.

Would you please run through all of the steps listed in our troubleshooting guide to see if this can improve your games performance? > https://www.ubisoft.com/help?article=000061047

I first noticed the fps lowering around the start of the June, there were no updates between high fps and lower fps,
I am using an i7-10700k RX 6700 XT with 32 GB DDR4 ram

Hey BigManderin ,

Thanks for getting back to us, just checking in to see how you're getting on and if you've given the steps linked above a try yet?

Sudden fps drops
One day i was playing Siege with 200+ fps on max settings, (Ultra HD texture pack, T-AA 4x with the target fps on 0 and the quality all the way up) but the next day It would auto detect to high settings and run at 155 fps T-AA 4x with target fps set to 144, how do I fix this/ prevent it from happening again?

Hey BigManderin & Spiny,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you here!

As noted above, we are aware of issues with the Ubisoft Connect overlay impacting player's in-game performance.

If you haven't already done so, could you please disable the Ubisoft Connect[support.ubisoft.com] overlay? As this should help in the meantime.

Please let us know how you get on, thank you!

disabling the overlay hasn't done much in terms of performance, maybe 1-2 fps increase

Thanks for getting back to us BigManderin.

May we please know your PC specs too (GPU, CPU, RAM, OS, Laptop / Desktop) and does this happen in both DirectX and Vulkan?

I have an RX 6700 XT with an i7 10700k and 32 GB of DDR4 ram, DirectX normally runs at 144-160 fps so I haven't bothered checking as at best it would run the same.
