Hello tudor and Vp1401, thank you for letting us know you have been having trouble with your mic in-game.

I have a few troubleshooting steps that have been known to help resolve differerent mic for players in the past, would you please try each of the following fixes, to help try and resolve this >

1. First of all, if you have another microphone or headset you can use, please connect them to check if the issue exists on all devices you own

2. Next, please follow our guide for in-game voice chat default settings here >
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/help/article/000060669

3. Lower the game's 'Voice Chat Record Threshold' in the game's audio settings, to zero. This should allow the mic to be picked up with the slightest sound. Setting the threshold too high can cause the mic to be detected, but no sound will be heard by your teammates.

4. Change the audio settings in-game from push to talk, to open, and experiment with the two, to see if both modes are affected

5. Change the display options in-game to run in borderless window and then full-screen mode, as this has been known to help with audio issues and some players also experience this when using a certain display

6. Run all of the games .exe files as an administrator. Locate the .exe file, right-click on the file, select Properties, select the Compatability tab, select Run as administrator, select Apply then OK. Not running as a game as Admin can cause several problems and as you are not giving full permission to the game to control other applications and devices such as mic > https://www.ubisoft.com/help?article=000060505

7.. If using a VoIP program for audio other than the game or game launcher, for example, Discord, please try disabling this from running in the background altogether, relaunch the game, and test if the mic works correctly through the game alone, without any 3rd party audio programs running in the background

8. Change the audio channels of your device and experiment with different ranges to see if all bits are affected >

9. Finally, please see this article for common microphone problems that can occur with Windows >

Please let me know how you get on after trying the above steps?

If they do not work for you, please could you create a bug report on our R6Fix website, so we can see how many other players are affected by the same issue, after extensive troubleshooting >
