FPS capped at 60? [SOLVED]
In game I have around 190 - 210 fps but suddenly in-game the fps will cap to 60 for long periods of time. Before this i had a stabe 200fps anyone else got this problem,?\

I just started up rainbow this morning and now the game is permanatly capped on 60?

EDIT: What I did to solve it.
I right clicked on my rainbow 6 application in the game files. (Right click on RS6 in your library press properties the press local files) Then right click on rainbow 6 (application) inside that folder, then click compatibility then check disable fullscreen optimization

i think they said something about player can gain hit reg advantage or recoil become less than it should be if the player having fps higher than a certain numbers (it normal issue found in many games using server side hit detection + awkward netcode). so it possible they try to fix it by cap fps.

whatever u better check at their blog again in the case that i may mistake something.

Turning off the fullscreen optimization in the .exe compatibility fixes it but it also breaks your uplay overlay and ability to invite friends to your squad from the ingame menus. As for them making the game run at 60 fps on purpose i doubt that because mine was running fine at 144 earlier then decided to randomly change to 60 so idk why it did that randomly when the full screen optimization was on the entire time and 144fps was working.

Another way that I did it is to uninstall my nvidia using DDU, and reinstalled nvidia back. The nvidia update normally ruins my fps
