So it's useless to sneak up to a corner where you know an enemy is (and he can peek you) if you are a 3 armor, since he is going to hear you meters away.
And yes, sound is broken, especially the vertical one (floor/ceiling breached).
If you have any clips to demonstrate this or can detail your audio settings and speaker/headset type, please make a report on our R6 Fix website so we can see how many players are affected by this > https://r6fix.ubi.com/projects/RAINBOW6-SIEGE-LIVE
We have had a few recent audio bug reports this season and I have also seen mention of footstep sound discrepancies in the new Team Deathmatch mode, with crouching and normal movement, so we are looking for video examples and details of when it happens, what operators are used, and what headsets/speakers this effects, to help us replicate this.

If anybody else feels the crouch walking mechanic needs to be improved in the game, or has noticed any negative changes since the latest update to crouch walking, please let us know in this thread also and I will gladly pass this on as feedback to our Siege team and highlight this thread!

If anyone else would like to contribute their thoughts please do in this thread, if you've seen any good discussions of this elsewhere on the internet, please let us know so I can forward that on too. I know changes were made in-game previously when players complained that the crouch walking was too quiet.
