Not receiving sms with verification code to add phone number on my account
Had this problem for a week now, and would like to play ranked games too. Did someone find a fix for this? Tried multiple phone numbers.

I just had this same issue so I used my email for 2 step instead. However I noticed that in my general account information, I didnt have a phone number added to my account.

Maybe this is why it wouldnt send me the code to my phone in the 2 step? I tried again once adding my number to my account and it came through instantly.
