Uplay Overlay - Shift +F2 does not work

Uplay overlay shift +F2 does not work.
It was working yesterday and then but hasn't worked in a while. anyone have same problem with me??

My game has constantly been crashing on start up now. When it does play, the shift + F2 stays visible in the left top corner. When i press it, it doesn't go away or open anything. I have to permanantly play with it. If i restart it, it then goes back to crashing. Basssically i can't play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Sorry for swearing but it's unbelievably frustrating.

Disable Fraps or Twitch. Worked for me after disabling them.

im having the same issue, the only thing different im doing is I ran steam as admin

log out of uplay then log back it, if it doesnt fix do it again.

Or just click on your squad, hit invite player and itll force open the overlay.

i turned off run as admin on my siege.exe and that worked for me

Turn off Fraps. Its worked on me. And we have already R6's own FPS&Ping counter.

Having the same problem... When I press shift+f2, my mouse cursor just centers and when I'm in the main menu the characters just freeze and that's all... Also if I press it again it unfreezes. Idk, if it's just invisible or something.

Same here. My brother and I both. It's really strange that it would stop working for 3 people at the exact same time. We didn't change anything recently so not really sure what caused it.

Without opening your game, open your Uplay by itself. Log out of the account you're logged into, and then log back in. That should make it work afterward.

I found a fix for it... Just turn off Steam overlay and it works normal (atleast for me).

THE BEST FIX IS!!!: close the uplay app, and start the game from the steam, it will open the uplay app and u can see only your games and news isnide uplay application.
and this is the one what works for me
when i open the app directly from windows, the SHIFT+F2 overlay wont work
so. just close the uplay, and start the game from steam, after this, the uplay overlay will works for you
