If your friend purchased the game recently from Steam, Epic or Ubisoft Connect directly, the game is automatically pushed to your Ubisoft account, without the need for a key to be entered.
If you run into any problems, you should check that your Ubisoft account is linked to Steam or Epic accounts first. You can check what linked accounts you have connected to your Ubisoft account, by checking this link -

If you have purchased the game from a 3rd party retailer, the launcher may ask you for a CD key. In this case it would be best to contact the original retailer you purchased the game from for a key.
If you have a very old copy of Siege that you purchased from the Ubisoft Store, please tell your friend to get in touch with us privately, through one of these links, with a copy of their proof of purchase and their Ubisoft username -
