Verification of ownership
So i unbound my uplay account to steam then bound it again to fix an issue and now my ubisoft games wont play due to this error that says that there was a error in authenticating the ownership of the game. Aaaand now im stuck with not being able to play r6.

every time when i start rainbow it says that there is a problem with authenarising of the ownership of the product. i re-installed rainbow and the problem kept coming. What can i do about it?

Have you tried verifying the game's files yet? It's something you can do on Steam and Uplay, so it doesn't matter where you purchased the game from.

hello, im trying to connect to R6 on a new account but sadly it says that it failed to authenticate my ownership of R6 am i suppose to buy R6 on my new uplay account or buy R6 on my steam account again? Any help is accepted

This usually means the game is connected to either the wrong Steam account or the wrong Ubisoft account.

does any1 know how to fix this? i recently reinstalled r6 i luanched it logged into uplay or whatever but it wont let me play it says "There was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product." ive tried a few things but no luck does any1 have a fix it would be much aprecciated ty. soz for my spelling

This error you're seeing is usually because you're launching the game whilst signed in to Ubisoft account where the game hasn't been activated.

Are you aware of any other Ubisoft accounts you own? If so I would recommend signing in on those and trying again. When you're on the correct account you will no longer see this error.

If you're not sure of any other accounts you have please reach out to us via a support case. You can reach us either through the support website[support.ubi.com] by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook[en-gb.facebook.com] and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

this is the same acc i played on a couple mounths ago im not rly aware of any others i own the via steam and have my uplayacc
