R6 looking too pixelated in 1920x1080 4:3 in both Vulkan And Directx API
I tried everything to get r6 look not pixelated in this conditions, from putting the graphical settings all the way up, messing with Nvidia Control Panel and try to get an answer for fixing this. (Yes I have my Drivers Up to date)

Thanks for your post about this, Gigachad (great username!). That sounds very frustrating to have the game look pixelated at this resolution.

Just to confirm, did you mean 16:9, rather than 4:3? The aspect ratio of the resolution 1920x1080 is 16:9, so if you've got that higher res displayed in a 4:3 aspect ratio somehow, this may cause irregularities. My apologies if I've misunderstood!

It's great to hear you've updated your GPU drivers, which we suggest in our troubleshooting guide[www.ubisoft.com]. Please also be sure to verify the game files, make sure your operating system is updated, and check for any software conflicts.

If those troubleshooting steps don't solve the issue, could you send me some screenshots demonstrating the pixelated graphics, and one showing your graphics settings? This will help me see how best to help further :steamhappy:

In the R6 Display settings i can put 1920x1080 Resolution in 4:3 Aspect Ratio, as seen in this image. (http://prnt.sc/1qdq80a)

Thanks for that, Chad!

Can you tell me which monitor you are using? In addition, which other options are displayed when you use the Aspect Ratio drop-down?

I use an ASUS VG248QE 144hz monitor. Also what do you mean about those other options? I didn't get it.

Thanks for confirming your monitor gigachad!

And by other options, I believe Ubi-Thrupney is referring to the Aspect Ratio options, are you able to view / select any other options such as 16:9?

Thanks for clarifying, could you please test the game in 16:9 if you haven't done so already and let us know if there's any changes?

I have a screenshot of 16:9 inside the game menu (http://prnt.sc/1qg58jo).
It also looks like 16:9 looks more "thin" than it should look like. I think 16:9 should've look a little wider but i think it could be because of the monitor. Or maybe because Im already a 4:3 player.

Thanks for getting back to us with that!

Taking a look at the image, it looks normal of a 16:9 ratio when comparing it to my own running of the game, also in 16:9. But I understand why it may seem cramped, especially if used to 4:3.

Are you more comfortable with how this is looking visually? As it does appear a lot sharper compared to your previous image.

Im not really into 16:9 since im more of a 4:3 player, I had already played with 16:9 on console but it didnt look like that before. Also I fixed the pixelation in 4:3 aspect ratio using 1920x1080, but the sights in both API's still look pixelated

Glad to hear it - as for the sights, could you please provide a screenshot example so we can take a look?

Thank you!

I have this screenshot from DirectX API with a blue color (http://prnt.sc/1qh3is5)
and from Vulkan API with a white color, which was more clear (http://prnt.sc/1qh3ixj)

Thanks for those!

And just to clarify, are you referring to your view through the sights or the physical sight element of the gun?

The view through sights.

im assuming you have your render scaling too low. its the last setting in graphics. put it to 100% to have the game rendered in 1080p
