Exiting Ranked Queue - Stuck in Reconnecting to non-existent match
I recently attempted to start up a ranked match and gave up after 6 minutes of searching. However, as soon as I leave the queue, I'm being informed that I need to reconnect to the match. However, after 3 separate attempts at reconnecting for 10 minutes straight, I've come to the conclusion that this is not true. The match never started and I'm being penalized for "leaving" a match that never started.

What are my options here?

That sounds very unusual indeed, Reon - I don't think such an issue has been reported previously. I understand you've left the queue, but the game keeps trying to get you to rejoin a ranked game that you hadn't connected to. I'd certainly like to investigate this further.

Does the error persist even after the game, and your system, has been restarted?
If so, can you also try resetting your network hardware for me? You'll find this step on our connectivity guide[www.ubisoft.com]

Oh, I can reply now.
It eventually stopped after around 1.5 to 2ish hours of cumulative attempting to reconnect. In the end, I didn't lose any points or anything, so nothing was lost other than time. But just felt like I got jipped because I essentially wasn't allowed to play. I'm assuming it's something along the lines of getting into a match as soon as I click the button to leave queue or something unlucky like that, but I don't have much I can really provide.

Sat in queue for a good 6.5ish minutes, gave up and unqueued. Immediately following, I got the popup to reconnect and struggled with that for some time. Googled some potential similarities, tried the restarting one, but the other fixes seemed to revolve around clearing your cache or something that fixed it for a couple people, but ultimately it seems just waiting out like something of an invisible game timer is the solution. Hopefully that doesn't count me as abandoning a match.

I have the same problem right now it just tries to reconnect

Just to confirm, have you also already given all of the steps suggested above a try to ensure you're running with the best possible connection?

yes I had no problem with connection some time later it fixed by itself

same here, me an my friend. left queue => penalty or connect to none existent game

I have a solution if this happens again. Stop reconnecting, enter a quick match and leave it. When you come back to the lobby, there is no longer an option to reconnect and you can instead queue up again!
