Also yes, this problem only appeared this season, was warking correctly before and I could swiftly change between devices even during gameplay if I wanted to.
Also, it only affects voice chat, not sure why did you move my post to a thread about missing operator voice lines.

D4no, have you had a go with our troubleshooting guide[www.ubisoft.com]? In particular from that guide, please make sure you've updated your operating system, you've verified the game files, and you don't have any unnecessary background programs interfering with the game.
If you've not already, please try with another sound device. So, for example, if you are using speakers plugged into your computer with a 3.5mm jack, please try a USB headset.
If it only happens with one output device, please consider reaching out to the support teams of its manufacturer to ask their assistance in making sure the sound channels are set up appropriately (for example, stereo for two speakers, or more for surround speakers, and so on).
If it happens with all sound devices, please let me know, and I'll see what else we can suggest as a fix!

Try verifying the game files, worked for me
