Steam high memory & disk usage when playing R6 only
I rarely take a look at task manager, but since yesterday I got extreme input lag, overlays took 10secs to appear, smaller fps and slower alt-tabbing, then I checked task manager, I found that Steam uses many memory and disk even after I fully closed R6. Is this normal? Because it didn't use that many if I played other games.

Here are the screenshots

When playing R6 (menu)[ibb.co]
After closing R6[ibb.co]

Trust me it helps alot. Buy it for like $7-$10 and you get -10 until -20 Celcius on your CPU. Lag spikes occur when the CPU is too hot because of the usage goes really high. So the CPU downthrohttles to like 800mhz or 1ghz.
thanks for the help, the game runs smoothly again now. I've tried changing anti-virus, virtual memory, using ccleaner, memory diagnostic, deleted steam cache, reinstalled steam, and interface settings in steam. But I don't know which made it worked, anyway problem is solved and thread is closed.
Good job bro. State the answer. Pin your comment as answer :D

It's funny that the game lag spikes after I got a memory upgrade to dual channel 16gb's and not lagging when I'm on 8gb.

Try putting r6s in high priority mode. It could help.

and steam to low priority, it helped but not much, lag spikes now 5 secs each instead of 3
