help please
so me and my friend wanted to play some r6s and it does not let us get each others invites, if i invited him he wouldn't go through to him and vice versa for me. if someone can let me know whats happening and how i can fix it that'll be great. thank you.

Even though I built a new PC, this problem still persists on my particular account. My chat stuck in loading screen for months. I don't believe there will be a fix.

Firstly I would advise against necro-ing and old thread and instead would advise to start a new one.

To deliver the experience we want with Ubisoft Connect chat is not available within the overlay. Chat is still fully available from within the app itself and we’re working hard to make improvements to it so we can deliver the best overlay experience to you

The issue is that chat is *NOT* "fully available within the app" The Ubisoft Connect desktop app and launcher have the button to open the chat, and when clicked, this opens a new window, the chat window. When this is open, the friends list in the Uplay application freezes completely and is unable to be interacted with or closed. As for the chat window, it is completely blank save for a loading circle in the dead center that just spins for hours on end, sometimes it finally loads, and when it does, it shows a miniscule fraction of the chats I have in progress. When one is selected, the circle reappears, for a comparatively short 5-15 minutes before the chat is loaded. This problem is NOT with my PC, as I have had the same issue across my laptop, my old desktop, my completely new desktop (no backup used, complete fresh install of everything), and a friend's desktop. This issue started for me at the exact moment the overlay was updated and Uplay rebranded to Ubisoft Connect. The old overlay caused no problems and allowed me to enjoy the game with friends. The new overlay not only removed many features, including chat, but also takes a minimum of 20 seconds after Shift+F2 is pressed to open and become functional. When navigating in the new overlay, merely switching between pages, for example from Challenges to Friends to Settings has an absurd amount of lag, often not switching the page for at least 30 seconds and being completely unresponsive in that time. The overlay also becomes unresponsive in every aspect at random times while attempting to use it, and is unable to be closed via the "x" button, Shift+F2, Esc, Alt tabbing and returning, or anything short of an Alt+F4. I don't claim to know the solution, nor do I wish to tell you how to do your job, I merely want to be able to play a game, spend time with friends, and talk to people, all without having incredibly frustrating issues that all but ruin the experience. The old overlay had no such issues at all, and I am still puzzled as to why it was replaced with what seems like what the DMV would make. Please, please, please fix this or offer return to the old overlay. I have this issue, as do the vast majority of my friends, as does everybody on this thread. Please fix it.
