R6 Credits purchase fails to redirect to steam

Hiya, I'm trying to purchase r6 credits. I saw that that ubisoft is having issues with delivering them right now, but I can't get past the process of hitting purchase. I click the pack, it opens uplay, I check the boxes, and it says "redirecting to steam" and then kicks me back to the currency page. I'm not sure if this is related, or if something else is just wrong. Any help would be great, thanks.

No, you're not. I've been trying to by 20$ worth of credits, but Ubisoft clearly doesn't know why its happening. Its related to Steam's incompatibility with Ubisoft's credits system. Because Steam (for some REALLY stupid reason) removed the ability to purchase credits on this platform for SIege, Ubisoft's redirect for payment will NOT go through.

No, it will not work if you have Steam overlay on. No, it will not work if you run it as administrator. No, it will not work if you uninstall and REINSTALL the game. It simply refuses to go through with the transaction for this reason.

I've been checking forums for HOURS now trying to find a solution, but everything I listed above is all that the Ubisoft support team has to respond with. They can't help you. I'm sorry man :(

Apparently so. Now, I have 20$ that Ubisoft will never see because they keep suggesting I just turn on steam overlay or run in it administrator.

Same here, in the past I already bought R6 credits through steam, now I want to get the Jill Valentine Zofia elite but I can't buy credits now, it says "something went wrong, and try in a few minutes". It supposed to open steam overlay for payment but now it doesn't...

Yeah, the funny thing is it worked for me not even a month ago. I bought 600 credits and a gun skin from my steam wallet and through my steam account. Now, it won't even give me the option to pick between my steam wallet or debit card.

Wow, everyone is having this problem. I think Ubisoft has somehow made the biggest blunder a company can: they made it so we literally can't pay them XD.
