Run Vulkan by default ?

Hi,
i was just wondering if Is there an option to launch the game by default with Vulkan API without changing the files names ?

If i start the game from steam library i can choose between Vulkan mode and DX11 mode but if i launch the game from the desktop shortcut - it always launch with dx11 by default.

Sorry for necro on this thread but did you find a way to run Vulkan as default?

nope seems to be the only way right now is to create a shortcut from the game's installation folder of the vulkan.exe file ...

Hi dude, i found this and its works for me, https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-rainbow-six-siege-vulkan-api scroll down to the bottom, that option works

I've done this before but it switched them back after an update
