R6 Is Losing Connection And Killing My Internet Internet
Hey everyone. I'm kind of at a loss here and I'm wondering if anyone can help me. After about 220 hours of gameplay, I've been running into an issue that's making the game basically unplayable at this point.

I work from home and depend on my internet connection, I'd say it has about a 98 percent uptime rate and very minimal issues with speed. I'm getting 100 down and never have any issues playing other games, or working on this internet connection from home.

What's happening when I play R6 is, I will boot up the game, join a casual lobby, and play a round or two. Ping during this time is about 9 to 14. Gameplay is smooth and perfectly fine.

Then my character will stutter, freeze in place, and I'll get booted out. The game then displays the following error code.

[2-0x0000C015]

Upon getting booted out of the game, my entire internet crashes and is unusable. Websites cannot be reached and display "No Internet", and even my phone loses connection to the WiFi and the WiFi network goes down. (My PC is hardwired)

Internet will be down for approx 3-5 minutes and then come back up. The internet will stay online again until I boot up the game again and try to play a match and the cycle continues.

--

I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps.

- Reset Modem
- Reset Router
- Forwarded Uplay and the games ports
- reset hosts file
- Flushed DNS
- Disabled all background applications

That last 4 were all reccomended to me from Ubisoft support via their "connections issues" guide on the website. I have tried all 4 yet still no luck.

--

If anyone has encountered this issue and has any suggestions on something I can try I would really really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hey CjTheFish,

I'm sorry this is happening. The error is a generic "connection lost" one, so it doesn't really specify what's going on here. Are there any others that use your internet to play online?

The steps you have provided would usually resolve this type of issue. Have you tried contacting your ISP and asking if everything's okay on their end when you play? Might be worth speaking to them.

When you've done that, if they confirm it's all good on their end, please create a case and include your {LINK REMOVED} It is very possible that something software related is happening here, and we will be able to investigate further with those files.

Yea issue is still persistent for me as well. Despite trying all of Ubisofts tips.

Its weird though because some weeks the game is unplayable due to this occuring, other weeks the game is perfectly fine.

I was also facing the same issue and for some reason ubisoft support is very stubborn on people to try port forwarding in their internet troubleshooting guide but if you feel that your internet is working fine then please try this:

Search "System Configuration" and open it --> Go to Services tab and check "Hide all microsoft services". After that, disable all the services that you don't need. For me, I disabled everything except BattleEye service and Steam Client Service. Apply the changes and restart.

Post this, I haven't faced the issue even once and I did this 3 days back. I think ubisoft support should also recommend this because I see many people facing this issue and it's disappointing that ubisoft hasn't been able to resolve this. If this is a software conflict for ports or something, it shouldn't crash the whole internet. Hopefully in future Ubisoft fixes this and hopefully the above solution works for you too.
