FPS problems again
I have Rainbow six Siege for a while now - 631 H on record. There have been some issues with it , some smaller, some bigger but now my experience is the worst ever.

When I first started playing it autodetected my configuration and put it all on very high/ultra(with V-sync), everything worked fine with no stuttering/drops. After some time I got some minor drops, no problem I thought, lowered the shading quallity and everything was fine. Since some months I got to the stage that I get drops even on medium and lower settings(whilst breaching walls or using Buck's shotgun and shooting into enemies). Even after deleting "Gamesettings.ini" the game set everything to medium(only texture on very high) when I started it again but then I still get drops.

Another thing is that GeForce experience at first reccomended everything on high and ultra, but after some time changed the recommendations to all low.

The game is barely playable now, please help.

Thanks in Advance.

What video card are you running also download a program called hwmonitor. Run the program then play a match or two of R6. Afterwards close R6 and hwmonitor should have saved the highest usage States and temps for your GPU and Cpu. Then post this info for us will be very helpful full. What I'm getting at is that your CPU or GPU might be thermal limited and be throttling it's self to prevent damage.
I am running a GTX 1050 with 4 Gb of GDDR5, I monitored my performance as you requested. First file was recorded while going on the recommended settings from the game itself (lower resolution, textures very high and everything else either off or medium) and the other one with my previous settings (ultra preset only with shadowing on medium and 1-frame v-sync)

I can do that, but it seems that on 1920*1080 only low and medium work without drops. However like I stated I used to ran it on higher settings

Yeah I understand, out of interest are you experiencing the same style of performance drops on any other titles?

Oh I didn't know you were gaming on a laptop. And thanks for taking the time to post the files gonna be a big help. Ok looking at your files you posted you laptop is not keeping the CPU clocked at the full turbo more than likely the cooling system can't handle both CPU and GPU at Max turbo. Another problem is that your laptop has a 5400rpm hard drive so transfer speeds are gonna be slow if the game needs to pull any data from your drive during game play to transfer it to the ram or CPU this is one area that is suspect depending on the amount of system ram you have if 8gb you need to upgrade to at least 12gb and I would recommend 16gb. If you already have that then disregard this. Lastly I would invest in a very good laptop cooling pad or a vacuum fan I bought one of the vacuum fan for my ging laptop and it dropped my max temps by 20c. This is the cheapest and easiest to do. This is the one I got https://www.amazon.com/Temperature-Auto-Temp-Detection-2600-5000RPM-Nintendo/dp/B01NACVLWM/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1548244544&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=vacuum+cooling+fan+laptop&dpPl=1&dpID=41kWBdPWBGL&ref=plSrch

Oh also go into power option under control panel and make a custom plan and change processing mangement and put min. CPU freq. To 100% see if this helps
