Can't Buy R6 Credits From Currency Packs Store
Just as the title says, I have ~10$ on my steam account and I got into Siege to buy some R6 Credits and all goes well until I try to make the transaction and I get a message saying that I am having trouble connecting to the steam store.

I don't know if this is simply a bug with my own internet connection or Uplay to Ubisoft, but either way after trying this all day, nothing has been happening. Strangely, though, I have easily been able to pre-buy the Year 4 Pass and other goods from the store, just no credits. Also if this does have anything to do with my internet and requires me to do something to it, I honestly can't because I am not a genius with PCs or routers or any of that, really.

If anyone can help that would be wonderful, thank you.
(I'm crossing my fingers it's just a temporary bug with my internet or the solution to it is a simple and easy fix)

Edit:
In case I did not make it clear enough, I am trying to purchase R6 credits using my Steam Wallet, money from my wallet funded through Steam gift cards.

Hey there,

Sorry you're having issues with this, are you trying to buy them with your Steam wallet as we've seen a lot of reports about this recently?

Are you able to make a support ticket via {LINK REMOVED} so we can gather more info on this?

Within the time I have waited for the problem to be fixed, I have done research and found multiple solutions that have helped other people. These solutions didn't help me but are still worth a try if you can't do absolutely anything.

Solution 1:
Change Uplay and Steam settings to require being ran as administrators, restart your PC, open Uplay and Steam as admins, play Siege, and attempt to buy something from the store, like R6 credits.

Solution 2:
Play at least one casual game before trying to buy R6 credits.

Solution 3:
Shut off absolutely everything connected to your PC, wait at least a few hours, turn everything back on, and try to buy R6 credits.

Solution 4:
If you added funds to your Steam Wallet through a card of some sort, wait for your bank to register the transaction before trying to purchase credits* (this could take a few to several hours)
*this solution doesn't apply to me because I bought Steam money through gift cards

Thanks for posting your findings and potential solutions, this is under investigation at the moment. I'd recommend to keep trying once per day until you get a response to your ticket. I apologise for this.

Hi, I'm having the same issue, tho I tried all of the above.. Is there a possibility that there are some malfunctions on Ubisoft's side at the moment? (ment as not on the user's side)

I put 20€ to my wallet yesterday and the bank accepted so I do have 20,02€ on my wallet..

All it says in the buy menu when its redirecting to Steam is:
"The store is currently unavaliable. Please try again later."

Thank you in advance!

Thank you in advance!

I sent a report to the Ubisoft site and got a good response, something I am currently trying.

Basically it was along the lines of you buying the same thing constantly in an unrealistic rate (according to steam) so when Ubisoft was trying to connect to the steam store, steam had immedietly blocked it. This block cannot be lifted by Ubisoft and requires 48 hours since your last attempt at buying the specific item. Attempting to buy it again just restarts the 48 hours. A way around this is buying something else that is similar, like if you are buying 1200 credits buy something less instead if you really don't want to wait. I hope this helps you guys, I can't say whether or not it helped me because, again, I am in the middle of waiting for 48 hours.

Let me know if I need to ellaborate or explain this differently.

To answer your question, ziggyOMG, it is completely Steam's fault and it's on them for the store being unavailable, truly.

Thanks for the info titaneum, hope this works for you!

Ziggy there does seem to be some underlying issue somewhere, we are working with Steam to investigate it. We hope to have more info soon.

As you are replying i may have found a FIX:
________________________________________________

Navigate to Steam → Settings

In the Settings Menu find "Web Browser"

"Delete browser cache" → OK
________________________________________________

Worked for me, probably old payments get cached so it somehow bugs you out.
Did this after first purchase, worked. Tried to buy again 20mins after, same problem

"The store is currently unavaliable. Please try again later."

Quit game 2nd time, clear cache → works again.

I guess until further official fixes, this WORKS (at least for me)

I will have to give this a try! I'll post back if it works for me.

Edit: Didn't work for me! This is really upsetting, the enormous time I've spent simply waiting for Ubisoft to reply to me a fix for it all.
