Error code 2-0x0000C004 Trouble shooting

So I have had this code a couple of times when trying to join a friends lobby. I notice this commonly occurs for myself when I attempt to join a friend I have not joined previously. So here is some steps I took to fix the issue.

Fixes

1. When someone invites you, instead of accepting the invitation, go to their Uplay profile and press join game on their options. This fixed it for me most recently.

2. Launch through the same method. So if one friend owns the game via Steam and another via Uplay, make sure you both launch directly through Uplay so the player which owns it on Steam just instead launches the Uplay app and plays the game from that.

3. Try restarting, has worked before but rarely. So when you turn your game off, open task manager and end any instances of Uplay you see running. Make sure the other player does the same. Launch the game again and try join each other.

Additional Fixes

So they are the basic tips to try fix the issue, some additional steps which can be tried which have been successful for others but not myself are starting a terrorist hunt and inviting friends or joining a multiplayer game solo and coming out from that and trying to invite again.

So I hope this helps anyone that gets this code, it's a real shame stuff like this isn't sorted out or at the very least, has well documented troubleshooting steps. If you find any other methods which fix this issue, feel free to comment them below! :D
