Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

how to report a hacker?
I was in game and some guy was blatantly hacking. does the "report toxic behavior" fall under cheating? they don't have a report for cheating button. i think i remember siege having it but maybe they took it out.

i didnt get video recording of the match but next time i come across a hacker i can record it if it actualy helps get them banned.

also the f2p weekend is gonna be a nightmare filled with hackers and noob teamates so i might just stop playing for a bit then.

I don't know why devs still do this, this kind of reporting leads to very few hackers banned.

Reporting needs to be convenient for the guy reporting, if I have to take video evidence and create a ticket, more often than not I won't even be able to report a hacker.

They have tools in place to try to detect hacks and etc, but they don't always work.

As for the reports, they ask you to send video evidence because otherwise anyone could report a player just because they want, to troll or etc.

i posted this 4 months ago, but yeah i feel taking video proof is a little much just to report someone, not everyone knows how or has any program to record. a bit after this i learned that i can record with nvidia gforce on my pc. but there has to be an easy way for people to report but whats the point if that will get abused? they replaced that with the "report toxic" option. wich is obscene, with no easy way to report most hackers get off scotch free because most people won't go out of there way just to report someone.

and they took out the function in game in favor for the toxicity sytem (don't even get me started on that)

Hey guys,

I can understand your concern around this, obviously there are improvements that can be made to the reporting system and it's something we are continually looking into.

We don't always require video evidence, this can just help to confirm it. If you haven't gotten a video, we would still encourage you to report this as we can still look into it.

In regards to the Toxic Report, this is the same option as before just renamed. So you can still report Cheaters through this and it will be looked into.
