Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow six installation...
So i bought a new PC, but it doesnt bring a hard drive, i have an external hard drive so i installed it, then i played a bit and the next day whan i turned on my PC i couldnt play cuse it would ask me to install again, so i did the same thing but i created a folder called "Rainbow Six" (the 1 time it was called "Steam") and it happaned again...

Please help i obviously dont want to install the game every time i play

We would usually recommend installing the game on an internal hard drive rather than an external hard drive.

Can you please try the following:

1. Log into your Uplay account
2. Click on the game
3. Underneath the play button click on 'Locate installed game'
4. Manually search for the file location where the game is installed

Please confirm if this resolves the issue? If this works you can use this method each time you play the game so you do not need to reinstall the game.

Hi, thank you but the thing is that when turn on my PC and i log on Uplay, there is a button thst says download, and after i download there no button "Locate installed game"

i even saw a youtube video in case i was blind and didnt see the button but its just not there

The 'Locate installed game' option should still be available even if it is showing as download. Please check this FAQ page.[support.ubi.com]
Im now installing the game again and the button says play now but syill no "Locate installed game"
i could screenshot but i cant uplay the image
i guess the only way would be install in the SSD card
This must be due to you owning a Steam version of Rainbow Six Siege, this will only for Uplay versions of the game.

Can you try uninstalling Uplay and then download it again here[ubistatic3-a.akamaihd.net]

Before you do this please backup any existing save files you may have.

Once you have done this try the game again. Unfortunately if the issue persists there is nothing further we can suggest and I can only recommend contacting Steam for further support as this is a Steam version of the game and is installed through the Steam client.

yeah, it still doesnt show up, thanks again, i already contacted steam and there is nothing they can do, guess ill have to save a bit more money for this one.
