Is this an error you're recieving?
If so, could you please ensure you have the latest version of Ubisoft Connect installed[ubi.li] as well as launch the client and game as an admin[ubi.li]?

hello, I just downloaded the game from steam just to play, I didn’t think to download something extraneous, I just gave money, they gave me the game, I wanted to play, I got this error

I've just installed Rainbow six and had the same error: "Unable to find Uplay". The steam does not installed Ubisoft Connect (Uplay I assume), so I've installed Ubisoft Connect manually and problem solved.
