Game will not update.

I've tried everything from flushing the download cache to uninstalling the game and reinstalling, but for some reason I still recieve the following error:

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear this has occurred for you.

Is it always the same file that it gets the issue with or does it change?

If you haven't already, please try clearing the download cache via the steps here

It's the same error. I just tried to update it twice to check and I recieve the same error message. Flushing the download cache does nothing for me.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Do you have multiple Hard Drives? If so try moving the installation to a new drive, to see if it's an issue with where the game is installed.

I've tried this and it doesn't work for some reason. This error keeps me from updating. I've uninstalled and installed the game again but no change.

I still have equally no clue as to what the error is. It might be worth mentioning that this error started when I uninstalled and installed uplay by accident. Maybe the error stems from there?

I mean running rainbow sixsiege as admin not uplay you could try disabling read only on rainbow six siege folder but enabling admin on uplay wont really make a difference

I'll try that out. I don't understand why there are problems with admin permissions tbh. It's never happens before for me.
