I'm sorry that you are having this issue. Have you tried verifying the game files and testing again?
1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
If this doesn't work, can you try testing the game after disbaling your background applications?
1. In Uplay, click on Games tab at the top of the window
2. On the next screen, hover over the game tile. This will make a little arrow appear at the
bottom right of the tile
3. Click on this arrow to make a drop-down menu appear, then click on Verify files

Okay so i tried what you suggested. However, when I try the second option, when i click on the arrow to make the drop-down menu appear there is no option to "Verify Files"; instead simply the options "Play, View Game Details, Uninstall, Mark as Favourite, Hide".
1. I just want to add that I have reinstalled the game twice already
2. I am curious whether the Rainbow's Test Server would work for me? It would take a whole day to download though so i would want to be sure.
3. My Uplay files are stored on my C// drive (hard drive), whereas my Rainbow files are stored on my D// drive (ssd drive) so I am just wondering whether this may affect the connection to the servers.
Finally, I just want to add that I am able to CONNECT to Uplay servers (eg. home menu) but it is only an issue when i try to connect to A GAME, whether that is against bots or online.
Having the game on one drive and Uplay on another CAN indeed affect how the game behaves. Not convenient but an unfortunate truth. Would you be able to test after having both the game and Uplay installed on the same drive?
I would not suggest trying the TTS until we get this issue resolved. :)

Thought i would explain it in more detail. So basically I moved the Uplay files over to the drive in which my Steam files were. Now when i went on the game, i was greeted the same as before. What that was? So essentially, I have a full connection to the game. I can see new updates, operators, and invite other friends to the game. However, when i try and join a match, (after a little bit of waiting for a match) the screen changes to the main menu backdrop (simply a blue gradient). There is nothing else on the screen. After a minute of waiting the game crashes and Uplay asks me to send a crash report.
Please help!
- Thanks again
Hey there.
Thanks for the update on this. Would you be able to send your system files[support.ubi.com] over to us on a support case here[support.ubi.com] please? We'll see if we can identify a potential cause.
- Ubisoft Support
Sure thing i’ll do that today :)
