FPS DROP FROM 140-120 TO 60-40
Recently my rainbow six seige dropped in fps. I dont know how or why it happened. i had recently downloaded a driver update and thought that was the issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers, verified integrity of game cache, uninstalled and reinstalled rainbow and nothing worked, still crap fps. Ill appreciate it if you guys find the issue because im growing impatient and reinstalling windows is the last thing i want to do.

Thank you for reporting that to us.

Have you tried rolling the driver back to the previous version? It may be an issue with that specific driver version, if you are having problems directly since the update.

yes i have yet the problem still persists. Every other game runs just as it has before with the only exception being rainbow and csgo for some reason. The Witcher 3, Rust etc run the exact same

I assume you also have the latest updates for your version of Windows?

I'd also advise trying with a Clean boot, to disable other programs. This can help to confirm if this may be down to another program conflicting with the game. You can do this through the steps in the guide here[support.ubi.com]

thank you for your quick reply despite that it took me this long to respond. I booted my game with a clean boot and my game is still in the same laggy state. I dont know what to do anymore. If this counts as anything everytime i do the inbuilt benchmark from the settings in game i get the same fps that i used to get 130-150. Load up a t-hunt on the same map (house) however and it all gets laggy again from 90-40. Going on a multiplayer match makes things only worse as now i get 40-60 on multiplayer when i used to get 90-120

I have had the same problem, just updated into season two with Nokk and the other dude and suddenly in matches it goes from 120 to 30. Thanks for the info above looking forward to trying the tips above
