Hey BuwakBuwakBuwaOhwak. Sorry to hear that your Siege keeps crashing. Is this your first time playing or has this starting happening recently? I have a few steps for you to try down below:

1. GPU drivers are up to date. 

2. If you have an Nvidia card. Try optimizing the game via GeForce Experience. In Nvidia's GPU's control panel window there is an option to choose for which app - which graphics processor to use.  
3. Disabling full screen optimization on RainbowSix.exe:
You can do this by finding RainbowSix.exe in the games main directory or even on the shortcut if you have it on your desktop. Right click .exe and click properties & select compatibility tab. Check the box that says ''disable full screen optimizations''

4. Running Steam, the game and Uplay client with {链接已删除}administrator rights.

5. Temporarily disable other programs that are running in the background except programs associated with the game.

HI. I'm now having the same problem. Ubi they gave me tons of solutions that doesn't seems to work. I've tried reinstall windows but the problem is still there. What else can I do to fix this?

Hi everyone, I've been seeing alot of this issue around online and I think I've been able to find a definitive fix, for this, I'm assuming that you're running a new Ryzen CPU or Perhaps a new Intel CPU ( although my PC is a Ryzen build). This issue is caused by SMT (Simultaneous Multi-threading), essentially this is done by newer processors in order to streamline games/ programs by allowing multiple threads of execution however it is extremely buggy. SMT can be disabled in your motherboard's BIOS.

SMT Settings are under Core Clock settings in most well-known motherboard manufacturer's BIOS.

You should really only need SMT disabled if you are experiencing crashing, or having serious frame loss you wouldn't expect from your build.

You're performance will not suffer in game due to disabling SMT and hopefully that is the only setting you will need to disable, hope this helps!

My CPU is a Ryzen 7 2700x and my motherboard is a GA-A320M-S2H.

This is a little late, but its for someone who still gets the same error, make sure all of your antivirus is disabled (including windows defender) at all costs. Make sure it is dead (check it up in task manager - process and see if your antivirus is still there) its a little bit tricky to disable windows defender, but im sure google will help.

I'm having this problem now and none of these solutions are working for me and I've tried many different ways to fix but none of them have worked and this problem started about 2 or 3 months ago and I haven't been able to fix it sense then can someone help me

try scanning the files in steam in the propreties menu i fried and it fixed it
