strange mouse malfunction

My friend has the problem that his mouse cursor appears in the beginning of every ranked match which is followed by a bug so he cant move his mouse in any kind. He has to leave the match and restart the game, then it works again.

Cursor bug in R6

Randomly ill be playing in a game of ranked and then my cursor pops in front of my screen and i cant look in a different direction only shoot but one bullet at a time even in full auto mode. It sucks cause everytime it happens i have to restart the whole game.

This have happened to me, very rarely though, usually it occurs when playing in borderless windowed mode and tabbing between windows far too frequently. I tend to browse online or in Steam discussions whenever I'm in queue.

If you get the mouse cursor bug again, see if it works for you to press ALT + TAB and then resume the game again, or if you have more than one monitor, press your Windows key and then draw your mouse cursor over to another connected monitor, click anywhere in that screen and that will automatically minimise the game, then resume the game.

Usually the latter solves the problem for me immediately.

It sounds to me when you get that bug it is when your operative system believes it is tabbed out of the game, which is why your movement keys wouldn't impact the game as they're now just letter keys.
And when shooting the computer thinks you're clicking so the first bullet fires because it tabs you back into the game and then instantly tabs you out again without actually visually doing that.

got this bug too. can only use w,a,s,d, but can´t use the mouse. I get this mostly after alt + tab to teamspeak or other windows.

It's a bug. sometimes the cursor would get stuck on my screen but i would still be able to play the game, just with the cursor on the screen. now that cursor is preventing me from aimming, the only thing i can dois move and shoot

Yes, thats mostly the same problrm and like said he has to restart the game until the next match but this only happens in ranked.

Hey everyone! Sorry to hear that you're having this experience with your mouse. Sounds like you found a workaround with restarting the game. Quite strange still. Have you tried temporarily disabling other programs except programs associated with the game? Overlays programs such as Discord could perhaps intervene with the game. Let me know if this resolves the issue.

same problem ! since yesterday i cant move my mouse ingame i changed nothing on my PC !?
i join and only see the mouse cursor but cant move the gun, i can shoot and right click but not moving the gun

I have tried alt + tab , changing resolution , alt+escape , alt+del , closing discord everything. it's always happened when i got discord on the background. we always down 1 man on a ranked game bcuz of this

Been having this issue rampantly as well after Phantom Sight update arrived. I've tried disabling everything that might apply an overlay (Discord, Uplay, Steam, Nvidia Shadowplay, etc.), disconnected every controller, alt-tabbing in and out, every possible configuration with resolution and windowed mode. Seem to happen arbitrarily.
