Weird bug when i press shift

Whenevery i press shift ingame, i'm entering the chat and the scoreboard opens up, can happen more than one time each round, but happends every time in the beginning of rounds.

Anyone else got that problem, and how do i fix it?

I fixed with just pressing alot of keys on my keyboard, just use you palm, might help

I only had this problem after hooking a controller up to my pc for Forhonor and other games if u did this aswell make sure to remove the remotes via Settings

Look at my comment, i just pressed as many keys i could on my keyboard, it helped for me

I havent played this game for 1 year because of this and only found out what it was. Please help!

I have had to change my controls from "shift" for running to a mouse key , also make run as toggle option.

i did this, and scoreboard"tab" and chat box "t" does not come up anymore when im running without using the "shift" key at all.

so never use shift, just keybind it to something else.

p.s if u hold shift and spam any qwerty keys, the scoreboard will come up as well as the chat box.

the only fix i found bymyself is to never use that shift key at all. and rebind sprint to another key or mouse key. and use toggle option for run.

also found out, that this bug is only avaliable on terrorist hunt and situations, but is not avaible in multiplayer, which needs to be looked into #rainbowsixsiege

Did you get a solution on it? All i did with my ROG Claymore keyboard was to press alot of buttons with just the palm of my hand. The reason it worked, is becuase of all the macros the keyboard have, some make it spam letters and other just, yea, makes it weird. So try pressing alot of keys at once, might help, might not, but the solution is still unclear for me

What kind of keyboard do you have?

Does it's have macros?

stickykeys?

Try the, click as many buttons you can with your palm

reinstall the keyboard driver maybe or USB driver

Try with another keyboard

make sure that those keys are only assigned to the function you are using them for. check your key assignments.
