Fullscreen is windowed
Hi all, this is probably one of the most common issues that you probably have seen or read about (maybe) for Rainbow Six.

I have an issue where my fullscreen is always 1/4ths of my screen. In other words, it seems I can't fully have a fullscreen no matter what.

I've looked through many different threads online about the same issue and it seems like the only temporary fix is playing in Borderless Window mode, which is fine, but my FPS is always bad and jittery.

I've tried: ALT+Enter, changing .ini file, reinstalling the game, changing all types of different resolutions and aspect ratios, read how other people attempted to fix the issue, etc.

None of the solutions worked for me. I'm playing on an Alienware r2 (laptop), so I assume that there's a problem with my laptop but not sure what

thanks

Hey,

Although you may be able to run the game on your laptop, unfortunately, they are not officially supported. Can you please ensure your GPU drivers are up to date and you have verified your game files to make sure everything is installed correctly. Thanks!

Yeah, I assumed that laptops aren't official supported. :(

Will they ever be fully supported in the future though?

And yeah, all my drivers, graphics card, etc. are all up to date. I don't understand why laptops only have this issue with the game though.

We have no plans to support laptops in the future due to the mobile hardware they run unfortunately. Apologies for this!
