Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

FPS is suddenly terrible?
Since they made is so you could only use dx12 my fps has been down but alot. There also seems to be some bug where it drops between 40fps to 90fps in ranked out of nowhere. Anyway to resolve this?

no. i have the same problem and looking the solution 4 days
at the beginning of each round, fps drops by 50% from 140 to 60-70, and it can be random in the middle and at the end of the round, but it goes on literally every game and ruins everything for me
ubi could you drop patch? Because my teammate has similar problems.

i delete and download game twice, clear cache from directx, also put all settings to low, thats dont help me as such.
No matter I play on high or low graphics settings, it's always 30-40 fps on the second round and for the rest of the game. Although when selecting an operative and in the lobby everything comes back to normal
no issues here on i9 14900 4080 laptop and no issues on my desktop 7800x3d and 4080

Same situation. After 20 seconds from the start of the round, fps drops to 40. I haven't found a solution.
Dude, my Rainbow Six Siege was running like a potato on dial-up. Seriously, I was getting, like, frames per decade. It was a tragedy.
So, I did what any sane person would do: I went full digital bouncer on my background apps. Think of it like, 'Alright, Overwolf, you're not on the VIP list tonight. Razer Synapse? Nah, you're good. Samsung Magician? Your tricks ain't welcome here.'
Basically, I told all the digital freeloaders to scram. It was like, "Yo, background apps, you're cramping my style, go touch grass!"
And guess what? Boom! My FPS went from 'grandma knitting a sweater' to 'Usain Bolt sprinting a marathon.' It was glorious. Suddenly, I could actually see what was happening, instead of just guessing.
Now my game is smooth as butter, and the graphics? Chef's kiss! It's like my PC finally remembered it could do more than just run a spreadsheet.
So, if your game's being a total drag, just yeet those background apps outta there. Trust me, your PC will thank you. :ops: :r6:
I have the same problem getting 30-40 fps in the loading screen.

Try this -> R6 Properties -> General -> in "Start Parameters" put -dx11, close this window and start the game
