Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Siege keeps crashing and freezing PC
whenever i try to play ranked or casual, the game will freeze and i have to reset my PC. Siege is the only game that does it. i have verified all files, and i tried changing my memory speed in bios (i saw this as possible solution online) , and it still does it, and even though i restart quickly, i get a ban because it doesn't give me the chance to rejoin. and oftentimes it starts working after several restarts, but i'm still blocked from ranked. it used to be in ranked only, but recently it's doing it for casual as well. My PC is more than able to run the game. 3090 GPU, 16 core CPU, 32GB RAM, plenty of storage, 2TB nvme ssd for OS, 8TB mass storage

what can i try to fix this?

Try deleting the file "GameSettings",

path My PC > Documents > My Games > Rainbow Six - Siege > (Random Numbers and Letters) > GameSettings.

A 16 core CPU doesn't mean anything if its bottle-necking your entire system, what is your CPU.
i've been having the same problem for the last month. Game became literally unplayable.

If you don't have a DirectX12 compliant computer then you won't be able to run the game.

My pc is technically able to support dx12. I own a rtx3050 and an i5-12500H plus 16 gb of ram. My system is above the minimum specs. I don't know why this keeps happening. I've done everything under the sun to solve this but nothing has changed

Technically is not good enough, you need to make sure you install DX12

Deleted cache, worked for around two matches. Then it started freezing again. Idk what else there is to do.

The only other thing I can suggest is to check your graphics settings to make sure you're not over budgeting your settings since the DX12 update was released.
