How the heck do I play Tachanka???

The obvious answer: Don't!

However since Tachanka is a meme and I've been playing him (unfortunately) since year 5 season 3, he's mine. I love his 9×19vsn (especially because I can throw the russian acog scope on), making Tachanka a force to be reckoned with in direct combat. Combine that with the bearing 9 and barbed wire (preferred in a perfect world) and I've got my dream build. Only problem is Tachanka's ability... I love the shumika launcher and it's great... on paper. I still hsve yet to learn how to use it properly since I keep trying to use it at the wrong place and wrong time. I've basically given up on using it completely when I bring the LMG that is "unmounted but loaded", bringing into question why the heck I even play Tachanka... It's mostly for the meme now I think, lol.

Enemies just typically go straight through the fire... Then since the launcher is equipped and not anything else, that's it for chanka.

Blanket doorways/windows with the fire pellets to waste time, that's literally all there is to it.

Get used to using the shumika out of line of sight. Utilise its wall / ceiling bounce potential.
He has a deployable shield in his kit, so there's always potential to use the Shumika out of line of sight.

I personally run the DP27 over the VSN because of its faster TTK, insane damage through walls, destructive capabilities, and the euphoric sound it produces when you let lead fly.
Don't feel forced to use it every time though.

Use the bounce to keep a place on fire without exposing yourself, use a secondary gadget such as barb wire, motion alarm or secondary shield to know when to swtich to main gun

Is it better to use the DP-27 or the 9x19VSN? I keep debating this because both are problematic for me... the dp has a much faster time to kill doing 60 dmg and (I think) lower recoil? The DP also can tear down entire walls which I love but "roaming" is much more limited. Meanwhile the 9x19VSN has the russian acog which I love and allows me to play further away... but no ability to break open walls!
