Emerald Matchmaking is ASS

I had phenomenal teammates from copper to plat but the moment I hit emerald the bot stacks are guaranteed to be on my team 3/4 matches. 2.0 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.

i downloaded r6 tracker and enemies are all 2.5kd+ with 8 kills per round average and i dont even know any of the maps or what operators all do.. this mm is a joke

Is this on Ranked or Standard/Casual? If it's the latter than those modes don't have as strict MM

that would make sense. yeah it's standard.. i just hit lvl 30 today and don't have ranked unlocked yet. doubt ill play ranked soon either.. i need another 100+ hours to learn ♥♥♥♥.

Yeah sadly its common now in higher Elo :/ At best, get some teammates or stack to play with constantly, its a whole new story and game experience

It is because game devs apparently are too stupid to understand that: >> we balance this one high level player out with 2 less good on his team *hurr durr* << just creates a bad time for everyone... the team that needs to to play against the high skilled player and the people that have been placed in a team / match that is above their level "to balance it out" ...

100 hours is not enought trust me...
i have 2 accounts i have around 4k hours total ( started playing in y5s1)
it took me like 200 hours to learn maps BACK THEN ( i still dont remember or know some locations, lets not forget since then we had few map reworks and they added like 3/4 maps since then)
but coming to learn operators and their skill, depends which one you're playing some of them are pretty easy to learn like rook for example or sentry/striker and some harder like caveira, vigil etc. (bandit is quite good operator, hes not that hard to learn, mp7 have quite low recoil but learning bandit tricking might take you a while) atm the hardest operators to play for both side i guess for attacker its deimos ( hes good if you have coordinated team, and info) and for defend? ehh thats pretty hard one,caveira is hard but she's queen of low ranks ( on higher sometimes she might work if enemies are idiots) skopos is also nice, not the hardest but it takes a while to learn
and yeah i also get champs, cheaters, smurfs that would play for literally pixel peeks have zero recoils even from 30 meters... been there dude
imo its best to stay off ranked and play standards for season or two, standards are easier for sure

Same here. I rarely see any opponents are below emerald, maybe one or two gold, everyone I played against mostly are champion and diamond now but not on my team.... And I am nowhere near their skill, I loaded in a match, enemy saw me for 0.5s, headshot me, I die, repeat. The moment I saw the kill cam where their smg11 or 12 has nearly no recoil, then I am like yep.

This matchmatching is truly AWFUL. So what I do now is intentionally de-rank, no drone just rush, and hope it fixes my MMR. And also rmb don't play quick match, it is the real hell there, it is even more challenging than rank or standard.

i just had 0 kills in my last 4 games.. all were emeralds and diamonds. and im here with 40 matches total played.
