My heart has been broken since R6 Lockdown.
So over them.
No need to insult CS:GO.
Even worst, you can see a lot of big reviwers and youtubers talking about this game like it is such a big addition to the franchise, i feel like those people never played a R6 game(old ones, 1, 2 and 3).
They don't even respect the lore of the game, can you imagine Rainbow Operatives using FBI and GIGN costumes? It's stupid at best. It don't matter from which army, agency or organization Rainbow Operatives came, they use the same rainbow uniform.
They didn't even bother to acquire lore about the franchise before starting to make the game, they made a "6" arm patch for the operatives, and we R6 fans know that Rainbow is the name of the organization and Rainbow Six is the codename of their leader.(They already fixed this by re-making the old Rainbow arm patch)

Again, nothing like the original Rainbow Six series. Had to use tactics back in the day, even up to GR: Warfighter 2. That is the point really, all tactical aspects are pretty much either "dumbed down," or removed completely to make room for more unrealistc aspects to draw button mashers in. You can't "Gears of War" everything. The up close and personal approach, only works when you do it right. It is the exact same philosophy that has ultimately damaged the Battlefield series from EA as well. Almost every long standing IP becomes a near shadow of its former self...sometimes it is just painful to watch happen.
With that said, there is always "reboots" of old IPs, and new fresh ideas that are more compelling than waisting time worrying about games you should probably just skip. At least until developers understand they can't force sales just because they put a game out...it actually has to be worth it to the consumer.
EDIT: I can say without any shadow of a doubt, I am not looking forward to anything Ubisoft showed at E3. The titles just look terrible.
.. Vegas was cancer also. Have you ever played the first few games in the series?
