I believe it has something to do with the new update, as my PC ran just fine before it, and now its not. Though I have found that it may have something to do with the heat, I believe it is mostly because of the update using too many resources than the update before it (such as something requiring more than it did before).
In short, its something to do with the newest update and heat.
The solution I found for the problem was to:
1. Find a way to keep your PC cooler.
2 (What I think fixed it). To verify the files by going to siege in your library, setting > properties > installed files > verify integrity of game files.
I hope this helps and I hope that someone can find a permanent fix for this issue.
Sorry to hear that you are encountering crashes since the update.
As you think it may be related to temperatures I would firstly advise to keep an eye on those temperatures as this will help to identify this.
To rule out some common causes I have some tips I would advise trying below:
- Ensure your PC meets all system requirements [www.ubisoft.com] for the game
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive
- Add Ubisoft Connect and the game to your anti-virus/firewall whitelist
- Complete the steps in our dedicated troubleshooting guide [ubi.li]
