imo R6 always gave me that F2P feeling. The different currencies, battlepasses, now the membership, the weird bugs that shows R6 is unpolished, the UI...

If it goes F2P, makes complete sense for me
Siege X isn't a new game, it's a massive update. Unless you mean changing the current price to free to play, none of that makes sense.

exactly, that would make CLOSE to zero sense to me as well. Like they would just take ALL their paying customers that bought that game, and disrespect them again. While I am sure other than beyond the realm of complete impossibility, I am sure people are just tossing out unfounded rumors instead of actually doing their due diligence!

I'm pretty sure it means "free to play" for current Siege owners. Everybody keeps asking how much Siege X will cost, and the answer is "free" if you own Siege. There's no way they're making Siege free to play entirely.
Based on how people been describing the update I just assumed this was their OW2/CS2 update.

Transition from paid to F2P and make the game even more ass than it was before with very little improvements (enough to feel like they did something but not enough to justify it in reality).
back when the game was a hit it was already flooded with cheaters so please i hope they wont do this free to play stuff. I just came back from playing after stopping for like 1-2 years and just found out that there are also chinese bots on these games going AFK on versus AI mode, ridiculous and pathetic. What's happening with online games why is it swarming with chinese farming bots now
know what the WEIRDEST thing is. I have been gaming ever since it has been a commercial thing. So of course I am aware of the FIRST video game ever made which was SLIGHTLY before that time (universities only) which is SPACE WARS. So here I am watching a video on youtube about said game yesterday when I find out IT IS ONE of the hidden games on steam THAT WAS ORIGINALLY used to test out the steam remote play capabilities or whatever. So me being the curious soul that I am and wanted to check all the video for facts decides to go on SteamDb to find out how many are on like the video said. I find 25,000 people are "in game" with this hidden title. They said the reason for this was again, just like the ABOVE post states, Chinese (and others) farming bots use it to add to their appearing like legitimate users. I was like, WHY does SteamGames allow this then when they are obviously aware of the issue. I really hope things like this are fixed soon...and yes I AM SURE even as messed up as Uplay can be sometimes THEY ARE STILL WORLDS apart from allowing obvious super gaffs like this from messing with their CUSTOMERS/CLIENTS...so let's just be thankful for what they GET RIGHT!
