Would I be able to play this on Linux/Steam Deck with the new siege x update?
This would seriously help out with my friend that cannot upgrade to windows 11 with their current PC

it won't work currently ON any linux distro. Also I am using AN ANCIENT I7 and I used some pretty ez fixes to get this horror show of an OS to install. I do like the display slightly better (scaling) than Win10...so I guess I have to take the positive with the negative. LIke I said pretty ez fixes abound in order to get win11 to install on unsupported hardware. Everything works as smooth as it can with my I7 2600 and 1070 Gfx card! I also used other fixes to remove A LITTLE of the bloat, and also a good deal of the forced updates/telemetry insanity that this company seems to adore so much to foist on their customers/clients.

BTW YOUR WELCOME!

But this isn't an answer
You can't play Siege on any kind of Linux because of it's anti-cheat.

That was 100% a factual answer. Like how could your misunderstand so hard that you failed to even grasp ANY basics? You were provided complete solutions, you I suppose require knowledge to be able to comprehend English?

maybe comprehend that this isn't a question posed to HIM, about how the game is NOW? I posted it as a question for the devs, because its a good idea, maybe?

Im sorry but like none of that was necessary

My b dude, I know it cant NOW, but the question was meant to be posed to the devs for their upcoming update

When I said that that it wasnt really an answer, its because its for the future update, and besides, circumventing a hardware lockout isnt really something i, my friend or anyone else should HAVE to do just cos microsoft wants to improve its data harvesting

I am sure you are going to do your best to fight, argue, and disagree/be disagree-able. Why in any way would ANY person wish to subject themselves to that kind of nonsense? I have provided you knowledge, yet you seem to wish to make it about beLIEfs. Fine, you can lead a horse to water...type thing.

Dude, what are you talking about, yeah sure thanks for pointing a way to circumvent the update lockout, doesn't change the fact that its not what I asked for (in fact I didn't ask YOU at all)

This is why I never pose questions to devs anymore, it just ends up like this, you misunderstood what the question was and now you're saying that I'm fighting for some sort of belief? What is this?
