Do you think Siege needs a TDM mode like the one we had on Sugarfright?
If you ever want to practice your aim before going ranked, your only friend is Thunt, however, I feel like Thunt isn't the best aim practice, it of course helps, but I feel like bots are too clumsy (holding very obvious angles, taking too long to kill you, always making a lot of noise and their movement not resembling anything close to an actual player and more.) On games like Valorant and CSGO, there is a Deathmatch mode, where you basically run and gun, have respawns and such. It would allow people to practice their aim and reflexes on actual players before hopping into a ranked game. I feel like it would be a nice addition to the game.

I always thought it would be nice to help get used to aiming in the game ( I used to hate no-respawn games for that reason), but sugarfright pretty much confirmed my suspicion of it just being a competition of who can spawn kill the fastest.

On paper, it seems like a nice idea. But on reality, a TDM wouldn't work in a single way in R6S, and the best example is the SugarFright event(the worst event in the last 2 years in my opinion), it was so unfun to play it and was just a camping fest and about who holds a corner better.

we'd need a deathmatch mode like in BF4, with random spawns in the map

I don't mind TDM at all actually, it's a break from the daily grind of Siege to get a taste of some different gameplay regardless of how well it works or not. I think we need more special modes in general, but some really good ones, the latest ones we've been getting aren't what most people wanted

Indeed we need new modes to keep the game fresh but I don't know about TDM tbh. The sugar fright one was awful in terms of gameplay and cosmetic. Also it had nothing to do with Halloween. It felt like a Christmas event than Halloween one.
Sugar Fright had these issues:
Spawn killing, people would just camp in towers to get kills, lack of variety of guns... You only had C7E, Ak-12 and R4-C. Also you had to just play a complete game with only the weapon you chose from beginning.

If I were to be honest, it felt more like an April fools mode than anything else

But honestly no at this point, game is already becoming full of bad habits about people wanting to frag and get kills instead of playing objectives. This feels like would only increase bad habits (not reinforcing when needed, ignoring objectives, splitting instead of covering eachother

I agree with that, making it into a 3v3 permanent TDM would be great.

Eh... it worked because it was time limted because people had the same loudouts, if the point of a better live "warm-up" limiting gun choice would work against that i think

Agreed with this statement.

I personally would prefer Ubi to focus in QoL changes (like SoloQ vs SoloQ only matchmaking and Squad vs Squad matchmaking (specially 5 stack vs 5 stack in ranked, type of matchmaking). Also a simple QoL to Thunt (if plausible a full overhaul) & new features for Custom games.

And I agree with this statement aswell. I think Siege needs to adapt to continue being such a dominant force in the FPS market. Even something small like a customisable T-Hunt would do a world of good for this game. I'm optimistic about Y6 given the features we got last year, despite a lack of new operators/maps.
